What’s&WhyuseCF?
CF表示Carrier-free,代表蛋白产品不含携带物。
一般携带物是BSA(牛血清白蛋白)，加入携带物是为了增强蛋白产品的稳定性，从而延长了产品的保存期限，加入比例为1μg的蛋白中加50μg的BSA。此外，含有携带物的产品，其重悬时，在不影响蛋白稳定性的前提下，可以得到更大的体积，更低的浓度，例如，含有携带物的产品，其浓度最低可以到10μg/ml，而CF(不含携带物)的产品，其浓度最低为100μg/ml。
但是，在有些实验中，如体内注射免疫生产抗体、自行标记蛋白或者包被多孔板等，携带物等额外蛋白的存在就会干扰实验。此时，只能使用CF(不含携带物)的产品。
大多数R&D蛋白产品都含/不含携带物两种产品形式可供选择。产品货号中含有“/CF”后缀的产品都是不含携带物的产品。
总的来说，含有携带物的产品，稳定性更佳，而CF(不含携带物)的产品应用范围更广泛，实验中大家可以根据具体实验要求，选择最适合实验需要的产品。
