Themainpartofthismanualdescribesrecordersfittedwithmembraneswitchesoneachsideofthedisplayunit.An-nexAcontainsinformationonoldermodels,(thosewithstatuslevelspriortoL19(Multi-pointrecorders)orL22(Continuous-tracerecorders)).Thestatuslevelappearsasthelasttwoorthreecharactersectionoftherecorderserialnumber.Therecordercomesintwoversions-acontinuous-tracerecorderwithuptofourpensandamultipointrecordergiv-inguptosixtracesonthechart.Chartannotationisstandardwiththemultipointversion,butisanoptionalextra(specifiedattimeoforder)withthecontinuoustracerecorder.Annotatingrecordersprintpower-onandalarmon/offmessages,timeanddate.Scalesandchanneltagsarealsoprintedonthecharttosimplifytraceinterpretation.
