Buttheseaandtheshorewillremain
Forever.
OnceIfilledmyhandwithmist.
ThenIopeneditandlo,themistwasaworm.
AndIclosedandopenedmyhandagain,andbeholdtherewasabird.
AndagainIclosedandopenedmyhand,andinitshollowstoodamanwithasadface,turnedupward.
AndagainIclosedmyhand,andwhenIopenedittherewasnaughtbutmist.
ButIheardasongofexceedingsweetness.
ItwasbutyesterdayIthoughtmyselfafragmentquiveringwithoutrhythminthesphereoflife.
NowIknowthatIamthesphere,andalllifeinrhythmicfragmentsmoveswithinme.
