ItwasannouncedbyvisitingChinesePremierWenJiabaoandEuropeanCommissionPresidentJoseManuelBarrosoatapressconferencefollowingtheirtalksattheEUheadquarters.Thedateforthesummithasnotbeendecidedyet.
Bothsidesalsoagreedtoholdthe2ndChina-EUhigh-levelforumoneconomyandtradeinAprilthisyear.
TheEU-Chinasummit,whichhadoriginallybeenscheduledtobeheldinLyon,France,onDec.1lastyear,waspostponedafterFrenchPresidentNicolasSarkozy,whosecountryheldthethenEUpresidency,insistedonmeetingDalaiLama.
PremierWenarrivedinBrusselsonThursdayeveningforanofficialvisittotheEUheadquarters,andisscheduledtoleaveforSpainonFridayafternoon.
